The GREAT BLOG CATCH UP

 In less than 36 hours Zara will begin Kindergarden, unless of course we arrive late, which is very likely - let's be real!  In fact my great friend Carl has had me laughing ever since he stated he couldn't wait for the first morning of kindergarten, as he was so excited to drop his son off and then rush to the school entrance with his video to document me slogging Zara up the hill just perfectly timed to receive our very first tardy slip!   In fact, I have already told the teacher than Zara will be jet lagging, not from traveling, but just from sudden time change here in NW!  We are supposed to be at school by 8:35am every day! At any rate, let me digress- forgive me blog god... for i have sinned and not blogged in AGES! I have basically fallen so far behind i am sure to miss some really fun perfect moments as I combine 4 months into about 4 posts!  And as many of you know me, this will be a gargantuan effort as I try and make it concise.

 It's been a year since our renovation and i am still amazed at our brighter lighter kitchen!

 My great buddy Hoyt arrived for a few nights and brought Zara a great Kadima set which we played right in the heart of Wisconsin Place.  We had a great laugh as Zara & Hoyt tortured the poor soul in the game of Operation. And Hoyt made sure we all knew that "PF Changs" was actually his Uncle Chang which he missed greatly by being in Eastern Europe where there are no Uncle Changs around!

Zara started off the summer with turtle park after she finally peeled herself off from our swinging porch  seat, from that moments we hit the heat hard- beach time with friends and pool afternoons as much as possible!

Aunt Gail had a great moment in Maine- i thing she said it was one of  life's great thrills to meet at US President!  She sent me a picture where she even convinced Uncle Mel to make sure he was in the shot too!
